Born on April 16, 1972 in the village of Gandza in Javakhk.

2006 - Graduated from the Yerevan School of Political Studies of the Council of Europe. He is an expert of international relations-historian, civil servant. Candidate of Historical Sciences.

1996 - Professor of the Chair of International Relations and Diplomacy of the faculty of International Relations of the Yerevan State University.

1995 - Member of "Javakhk" compatriotic union.

2006 - Chairman of the union.

1997 - Member of the Governing body of the “Powerful Motherland” party, Head of organizational division.

2006 - Deputy Chairman of the party.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA).

June 19, 2007 - May 31, 2012 - Member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenia.
