Born on August 1 1956 in Yerevan.

1975 - 1977 - Served in the Soviet Army.

1975 - Finished Yerevan State Technical School of Food Industry.

1984 - Graduated from the Yerevan K. Marx Polytechnic Institute. Thermal engineer. Candidate of Technical Sciences.

1988 - Graduated from the Armenian branch of the University of Marxism - Leninism. Economic Head. Candidate for Technical Sciences.

1974 - 1975 and 1977 - 1983 - Worked in the Yerevan Beer Factory as an engine driver.

1983 - 1988 - Worked as chief foreman, Head at refrigerant compressor shop.

1988 -1997 - Chief engineer.

1997 - 2000 - Technical Director.

2000 - 2003 - Director of the “Yerevan Beer” CJSC.

2003 - 2007 - General Director.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #41.) Member of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly. Not included in any factions.

May 6, 2012 - Elected  Deputy of the National Assembly from the electoral district # 41. Member of RPA.

Since 2010 - Associate Member of the Engineering Academy of Armenia.

2011 - Associate Member for the International Engineering Academy.

Author of 21 scientific articles.

Married, with two children.
