Born on December 10, 1963 in Vanadzor.

1987 - Finished Leninakan light textile technical school, received qualification of technician-technologist.

2004 - Graduated from Vanadzor “Mkhitar Gosh” Armenian-Russian International University, received bachelor degree of Management with Management specialty.

1982 - 1983 - Served in the Soviet army, participated in the Afghan war.

1983 - 1993 - Worked in Kirovakan St. Shahumian tailor’s workshop.

1993 - 1998 - Worked in “Bazum” workshop of “Hats” production union.

1998 - 2007 - Director of Debed branch CJSC of the Armenian Power Network.

1990 -1994 - Participated in Nagorno Karabakh liberation movement and defense battles for the borders of the Republic of Armenia.


2002 - 2005 - Elected member of Vanadzor Community Elders.

Member of Yerkrapah Volunteers’ Union of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of Lori region Afghans’ Union.

2007 - 2012 - Elected as Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district # 31.) Member of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly from  the electoral district # 31.

Married, with two children.
